I'm planning on pulling my transmission over the winter to have it rebuilt and freshened up. I was looking through the Summit website for parts and saw the stage 1-stage 3 kits for my 700R4. What do I need to buy for the rebuild? I'm planning on a 406 motor and a 12 bolt or 9 inch rear end in the spring. I would like to go as bullet proof as possible for the money. I have a guy that is going to do the work already lined up. Haven't talked to him about parts yet. Thanks for the help!

I went with probuilt automatics.
I chose the street/strip kit.

So far so good, I have about 1000 miles on the rebuild.
Call Dana and talk to him about what you have planned and what he recommends, real easy guy to talk to.
If I had any complaints, it took about a month to get my kit. He doesn't have them sitting in his shop ready to be shipped.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Cool, thanks for the link. I will check it out. I recently upgraded to a 373 gear. Now i can really feel how sloppy my trans is. First and second gear are great and shift really firm, after that it kind of wanders around a bit.Originally posted by mcalus View PostI went with probuilt automatics.
