  • Rear end noise

Does anybody know of a reputable shop in the Flushing/Flint area that would give me an honest diagnosis on a rear end? I'm trying to sell my car and I've only gotten 1 low ball offer so far so I'm wondering if the description I put up is just scaring people away. If I can get it fixed or at least explain what's wrong I'm thinking it may help.

    Thanks in advance!

generally rear end noise (especially in 4th gens) is usuallyh only repairable by replacing gears and bearings. Or finding another rear end to swap in, but a used rear might be as bad as the one you're taking out.
When in doubt, Whip it out !

That's pretty much what I was thinking too, definitely not going to go the used route. I know every situation is different but is it rare for just the bearings to go bad or is it one of those situations where might as well replace it all if they're going to do anything?
