Ok so I got everything down for reinstalling my new clutch and slave and putting the transmission back in.

Now my question is; how and what is the easiest way to bleed the clutch?

    Thanks in advance!

Get a Mighty Vac and vacuum bleed it.

+1 for the mighty-vac...works like a champ on the clutch.

I dont have a mighty vac so I always start with gravity bleeding and finish up with the old school pump - hold - crack bleeder method. It takes more time but I've always had good luck...just make sure you don't run the reservoir dry

ive done vacuum bleeding and manual bleeding, and vacuum bleeding by far is easier and faster. but of course if you dont have a vaccuum you can probably rent 1 from atozone

Thanks guys! Just wondering how difficult it is to get to the bleeder. I've watched some videos on it and a lot of ppl drill a hole in the floorpan. Obviously that makes things easier but how hard is this with the vacuum bleeder if I didn't drill a hole?

Also, I learned about this "drill Mod" for the clutch master cylinder line...Has anybody heard anything bad about doing this? Seems like a good idea, but why the heck didn't GM do this in the first place? Somebody needs to fire that engineer!

The bleeder isn't hard once you find it...I wouldn't drill a hole for it, that's for sure.

The drill mod is pretty standard. You could also purchase an aftermarket master which already has it done(Ram) or doesn't need it(Tick). If you are interested I have a ram adjustable master that I would sell (came with the drill mod already done). Shoot me a PM if interested...

it took a minute to fine, the hardest part i found was fitting a socket and 1/4" ratchet in there to breake the bleeder

Tick speed bleeder and tick master - I can flush the system and re bleed it in minutes.

If you have a 4th gen and don't have a tick master - you need one, it's well worth the $$$

I agree but don't have another $350 to spend on un-needed parts

IMO it's necessary to fix the broken design of the factory hydraulics.

If you don't drive it hard or aggressive the factory stuff will work......
