I know these are supposedly direct replacement for stock rod bolts. My question is about pricing. Is there any place that sells them for less than $199.99? Or is that just a standard manufacturer retail price? I am looking to buy a set for my LS1 rebuild, and like most everybody, I am looking for the best price. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, and i didn't think of that. I know those parts aren't cheap, but i figured it would be worth asking. Maybe find them for $180 or something. I was going to go ARP but then you have to get stuff resized. so it's not any cheaper.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Postmaybe one of the few members here that work there will be able to hook it up, katech parts just don't come cheap.

Unlikely that you will find them (new) cheaper. They are very expensive to make so there is very little dealer discount on them. The cost keeps going up and up and we've been fighting a price increase on them for years. We just make less and less money on them. We've been reluctant to go over the $200 threshold._JASON
