  • Breaking T56 tail housing?

At what point do you have to worry about cracking the tail housing on a T56 with the TA mounted to it? Now that I have some decent traction I'm starting to worry about other things breaking. My tires used to be my fuse but these new R888's grip really well and under full boost it pulls much harder than before. I'm starting to worry about my factory ford 9" case too.

How much power are you putting down?

Viper Rebuild for T56 includes a new machined Tailhousing.

Will support over 1000ft lbs at the wheels.

If up to 600ft lbs at the rear, the Stage 2 will work, but I don't think it comes with a new tailhousing.

While I do not know what the number is, this product could solve your worries for about $250.

Thanks guys. I know how to fix the problem, I was just looking for anybody with some personal experience. Sounds like Larry was putting it down pretty hard without issues...that makes me feel better. Ive read on tech about guys busting them at stock power levels on the dyno. Don't know why though
