  • New motor for the Z !!!

    Picked up the new motor for the '73 Z yesterday!
    New Engine Specs!
    388 SBC Stroker with reworked Vortec Heads
    Early 70's 4 bolt block bored .060
    906 Vortec Heads ported and reworked, good to .550 lift
    The following parts are all NEW;
    Eagle Stroker Crank
    Keith Black Pistons
    Hastings Moly Rings
    Speed Pro Cam 480/487 and Lifters
    Comp Cams Roller Rockers
    Comp Cams Push Rods
    Melling Select Oil Pump
    Edelbrock Double Roller Timing Chain
    Champ 7qt Oil Pan with Tray and Scraper
    Stewart Water Pump
    Fluidampr Harmonic Dampener
    Edelbrock Performer Intake
    Barry Grant Speed Demon Carb
    Holley Fuel Pump
    All ARP Fasteners
    Motor also came with the Distributor, Starter, Alternator, All Brackets and a GM Serpintine Belt Setup.
    Complete motor ready to drop in and play!
    Plenty of room for more cam but as is dynoed at;
    375hp @ 5400rpm
    444tq @ 3600
    Going to be a great street motor!
    Soooo .... my existing motor in the Z will be going up for sale shortly as a complete motor.
    Any guesses what i paid?
