Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Lol, never. Was just looking around. I hope not, guess we'll see when I have a drive shaft. No, still on stock bolts. I need to order the longer ones. Ran the stocker for 5 years no problem. Doesn't make it right though.
You will most likely have to grind down that upper outboard corner so it doesn't punch a hole through your floor. I did a little of both, ground the corner and hammered the floor...lol Looks good...get some longer bolts like Larry said....if the end of the bolt doesn't peek through the other side of the nut then you don't have enough thread engagement.

I ordered the bolts last night. I'll take a look at that area this week and see how much grinding, pounding I need to do. Didn't pay much attention to it yesterday.
Edit: just was under the car, I see the area you mean.

Looks like I have some centering to do.. About 2 5/8 in front of tire, 1 1/8th rear.. Just wanted to set it on the ground to see how it looked.. Will be able to get a better measurement with tires off, but either way I'd say it is off center..
Well, got the LCA's adjusted, won't know 100% til the car is on level ground and everything tight.. But much better than it was. I think I have the springs situated also, but again til on level ground I won't know. Found an issue with my shocks, been there since I bought my car but never knew it.. Shocks were on car when I bought it. The bottoms rubbed against the shock mount. I noticed this today when I went to install shocks and noticed no clearance.. Put some washers in as spacers to clear mount. Some pics below.. Shock adjustment knobs used to face in, before I put the new sway bar in.
Bearing kit ordered and transverse mount kit.. Now to figure out why the hell the drivers side sit 1 3/4" higher than the passenger side... Looks like I'll be pulling the springs in the morning and swapping them around to see if that makes a difference.. If I never do another rear end it will be too soon!
Is the one side higher when it's hanging, or sitting on the tires?
I want to say I checked it hanging and they were even. It's when it is under load that it is off.. I am starting to think I may have bent the shaft on the drivers side shock, which in turn is not allowing the shock to compress under load. I am doing this by myself and had the rear rotate forward pretty hard with the drivers shock hooked up. 1st thing I am going to check tomorrow is that shock and see if it compresses. If it doesn't, well..
