I too drove my Camaro all summer, every day. Going into work wasn't bad. But, after working 8 hours in a 42* room...I didn't acclimate very well stepping out into humid 80* weather It's nice to have and I didn't need to get rid of a system that worked. Black car, black top, black interior/leather = hot!

No A/C is not as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

I agree but the size, if you have t-tops, and year of the car comes into play.

My Corvette does not have AC but it does have Astro Ventilation so when you are moving it feeds air from the high air pressure area at the cowl and distrubutes it through the kick panels and vents in the dash. Being a fiberglass body it does't take much for the heat to transmit through the body.

I believe early mustang coupes would pull air out of the B pillar so air was circulated.

I been told many times to put AC on my chevelle but it also has Astro Ventilation, and I installed a noise/heat/vibration barrier on the floor and firewall to keep heat under the car plus I like driving with the windows down as well.

But people who remove AC on a new car are die hards. I belive Jason removed the AC from his Z06(coupe). I can imagine that car is miserable to drive on any warm day.

As far as A/C goes, mine hasnt worked since I bought the car. I never bothered with trying to get it fixed. May even delete it, since I wouldn't even notice the difference anyway. I drive it as much as I can, while the sun is out. And, with working outside, haven't really found a need to climb into a freezing-cold car after a long day's work ... Don't even know if the A/C works in my DD.

Cant drive like that in business clothes 35min to work in 80 degree weather...... Well and still look decent when you get there, lol. There are only 2 reasons I have AC in my car, 1) If its 90 and humid, and rainy you cant put windows down. and 2) I actually drive my car, like to and from work like a normal person, and you cant wear REAL business clothes in a car on a 90 degree day. Even I just run to lunch Im sweating my ass of. Not to mention clients dont much care for it. I refuse to believe as many people W/O AC actually drive there car as a DD like they say they do.

i also only have to wear a military uniform and if they do not like they can just ride in there car if they can keep up lol.

I like A/C and consider it a necessity, on hot days I will ride with t's off and A/C on blowing cold air on me. I have 1 life to live and I am going to be comfortable.

i took ac off. sometimes i miss it dearly. windows down and t tops off. still doesnt cut it when its hot and sunny, and black leather seats. even doing 80 down the highway
