  • FINALLY Found the Fix!

I found a guy in Plymouth (Frankie V) that finally found what was causing the car to burn out O2 sensors and drive me crazy. Guy got it up on the hoist (very important thing, when you can't fit under it) and found an obscure vacuum line that runs into the EVAP system that was crumbled. It's located somewhere along the back of the motor and with the little space I had to loo, I couldn't hit it with the carb cleaner, nor the hose to listen. Anyway, as it was, the current bank 2 O2 died out and I had the stock one to put it. He threw that one in and ran a new hose and viola! Car runs perfect again! Huge thanks the Frankie for helping out (yes, along with cash, he got a 6 pack with it). Oddest thing, I was telling him of the trouble I had trying to find a higher stall convrerter for the 6er and he suggested Mike Ridings. Small, small world.

Although, I guess, out of chasing this damn rabbit, I could've used a new air temp, TPS and coolant temp sensor anyway, lol!

Very cool! Glad to see it was something simple, but sucks that it took this long to find. Hope to see you out on Woodward sometime.
