Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Track or street? Mods? Personally, I would re-do the 10 if your application is more street.
I shopped 3 different sources when I settled on a MWC 9". DTS built rear end or an S60 was going to run me about $2500 to my door - either would be MORE than adequate assuming your application is primarily street but would handle all you could throw at it on the track. The Midwest Chassis 9" was a little more, but have a few more bells and whistles.

It just feels like a waste to fix it. I'm on nitto drag radials, M6, and I like to have fun with it every now and then.
A mwc 9" w/wavetrac would be my dream setup but I don't even want to know what that thing costs lol
Is there a good rear on the cheaper side that drives like stock? I daily drive it in the summer, and I want this thing to handle a road course once in a while.
any aftermarket rear should drive like stock, unless you throw a spool in there which would be stupid for a street car. Problem is all of them are in the same ballpark range of 2-2500
Sounds like you're just doing bearings. Depending on how many miles it has, you just might consider replacing the ring and pinion too. That's what breaks when the time comes.

Yeah just bearings really. My car has about 35k miles too.
Wavetrac is the only "Posi" thats going to hold up to a 6 speed making any decent amount of power. A road course is going to be just as hard or harder on it than the 1320.
M6 and drag radials will wreck a "built" 10 bolt eventually. I can't imagine dropping a grand into building one up just to see it die after a season of rough driving. Not including a driveshaft which isn't needed (you can just install a conversion joint), I'm $1,900 in on my Quick Performance housing, moser axles, and Roush-Yates NASCAR center section with a Detroit locker.
If you plan on sticking with the car, 9" is the only way to go. Otherwise, buy another 10 bolt and drive it until it grenades as well.
