like others have stated so its not like im a total help but my buddy with 3.73s and a stock tire on a shooter was at the top of 3rd in the traps, you should not be in 4th.

you need to diagnose this problem first and foremost. go to http://www.f-body.org/gears/ and check your speedo while driving around. It may be something as simple as a sensor but either way something is off.

I just took the car out, I could not get over 35mph in 1st with out it going into 2nd.

50 mph @ 1,500 rpm in 4th
60 mph @ 2,000 rpm in 4th
40 mph @ 2,000 rpm in 3rd
60 mph @ 3,000 rpm in 3rd

Sounds like your tune is messed up. I can take 1st farther than that with 3.42s(granted, im sure Im spinning mine higher than yours), 35 is abut as fast as I can go and still get a 2 > 1 downshift.

Do you think madtuner keeps recorrd of what shift points he does for everyone?



Also noticed today when I cycle my key, my ABS unit makes a weird noise that sounds close to dropping change into a piggy bank.

I seem to remember A4 fbodies maxing first gear around 35mph unless its a 2.73 car. I guess that doesn't sound like anything abnormal to me.

Stock 3.23 A4 car will shift out of 1st @ 45mph. 2.73 car will shift @ 50

The tires are a 245/55/16
The gear is a 3:42
I don't know why it goes into 4th at the track
It does the dragging feeling only when you let off, after any throttle.
The rev limiter is at 6,000.
No cats.
Fluid is always cool (less than 185*) And was clean.
