was llooking at getting my things together for my motor and seem to have gotten my sons 5.3 flexpalte and my ls1 mixed up. laying one on top of the other they look identical but dont want to take that chance. so are they the same or different? thanks

99% sure. Running the 5.3 one with my 5.3, ls1 converter, ls1 starter, ls1 fbody 4l60e.1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....

From everything that I can find they are the same, looking them up for each motor and same part numbers are coming back. Take them both to the builder? He may be able to help or tell a difference or steer you in the right direction?sigpic

thanks fellas. i was also thinking that i know ive had mine off a few times. maybe i can tell by the wear at the mounting holes, if there is anysigpic
