Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Was it a Dynojet or a Mustang dyno? If it was a Mustang dyno those number's would make more sense for a mostly stock LS1. If not I'd say something was wrong w/ the machine or it's operator, not the car.
Also I would recommend a stall somewhere between a 3600~4400 with a 2.4 STR IMO. All depends how loose you want it. Mike
STR stands for Stall Torque Ratio. Basically, STR is torque multiplication. If a car has a higher STR, it will feel tighter on the street because the converter is multiplying the input torque by a higher number. It will also give a harder punch out of the hole. STR is created by two components inside the converter moving at different speeds. Shortly after launch, those components reach an equal speed eliminating STR completely.
+1 to Johnny. Also the more power the car makes the little bit higher the convertor will stall. Also if those tourque #s are right that thing is a tourque monster
That graph loosk terrible there is definatly something wrong there, I'd say get it redyno'd somewhere else and you should see completly different numbers.
Anyone know of any good dyno shops around the Grand rapids area. AYA Racing wants $150 a run. Im not sure but that sems a little high considering he isnt even tuning.

Help me out here guys, but aren't dyno tune's usually $300+? I've heard that AYA is pretty good, but I've never been.
Whats the name of that place and see if I can mapquest it and figure outa date. I just want to get a baseline down so over the winter i will know if i improved on anything by next spring
I just found out that I have 3.23s in the rear. Thats good right, even though I wanted to go 3.73s this winter. Should i just put in a stall and call it good?
