Ok, first... Had clunk while accelerating between gears. Replaced transmission mount, fixed that problem... Then after I replaced that, on my test drive, I accelerated and before it hit 1st gear it felt like it jammed into gear, just slightly, not as smooth as im used to... once in gear I can full throttle and everything runs smooth. Its an auto with 68000 miles. 4L60E

If you used a poly trans mount, they are real stiff at first but break in after a while.sigpicComment

if the jamming into gear gets worse and the check engine light comes on, it could eventually be a valve body issue. I know I had that problem with my old bird. Otherwise, like they said, you could just be feeling more because poly trans mounts make you feel EVERYTHING.-Derek-

it feels like when gear engages from stop to acceleration...it shifts into gear hard, then smooth transitions all other gears...Comment

I feel it when im coasting in 1st then give it some gas...or when its downshifts from second to first. Any ideas?Comment
