just finished my t56 swap in the iroc but for some reason the clutch refuses to disengage. when the car is off you can go through the gears no problem, when the car is running it dosent want to go into any gear. everything is new so this is really confusing. we put the rearend in the air and if you can force it into gear the tires spin with the clutch to the floor. car runs and idles great its just not wanting to shift and we are running out of options. we have blead the hydraulics even though we bought them new and pre blead. it dosent make sense. any help would be GREATLY appreciated

How did you connect the solenoids for reverse lock out and skip shift etc. when engine is running does it grind to shift or just won't go into gear from neural. 1st time I had my bird programed for skip shift the guy screwed it up and I could not shift into 3,5 only 1st and reverse.sigpic

Well, now that's odd..If had that same set-up in my car before and had no issues. Was the car originally a 5 speed or auto? What clutch?Originally posted by ramjetz View Postits a t56 from a 97 lt1 z28, im using new hydraulics, new pilot bearing, new throwout bearing, new clutch, new pressure plate, im using 4th gen pedals, everything went into the car very well with no problems, it just dosent work lol.sigpicTurbo Charged LS1/T56
