Stock gears for my car are 3.42s. I am torn between 3.73s and 4.10s. I don't care much about doing 150 I mean its fun but to much risk to do that. I want to be more light to light not top speed freeway terror.

What would 3.73s make the top speed also RPMs?
Same for the 4.10s?

Yours is a 6 speed right? If so 4.10's FTW if its an auto go 3.73

I agree with Darren 4:10s for a 6 speed

I just put in a 9" with 4.11's and it feels like I gain 50hp. It's so much more snappy now. I previously had 3.42 gears. So I'd recommend the 4.10's.

I got 4.10s in my car and love them, still get over 20mpg too (most of the time )

If you are asking this question you may want to call a shop. I have never done them, I have always had them done. I hear they are a pain in the ass.

I mean I can do anything on a car but I am stuck driving the Camaro as my daily driver so its not like I can afford to sit there and do it and have it take me like a week to do it.

yeah 4.10s for the m6, i put a set of motives in mine and are more quiet then stock and at 70ish only doing 2000 RPM.. so still good gas mileage.. and it wakes the car up A TON!!

A dial indicator, an inch pounds dial type torque wrench, and lots of patience.
