  • Normal cost of Torque Converter install?

I have called a couple places around midland asking for an estimate on installing a torque converter in my car. They all said right around 350+ fluids. Does that seem like a decent price.

$350 seems like an awful high price for a installing a converter.

Stenod installed my converter, trans cooler, and shift kit about 4 years ago for $350 I would say you could do better with a little negotiating.

Cooler was already on my car(upgraded from a 2400 to a 3600), so all they had to do was drop the trans, slide the new one in and top it off.

Phils Transission on dort did it for $225 or $250 IIRC.

I agree $350 seems high, I would continue to "shop" around.
