So my rear end is at a local shop to put my 3.73 gears in and he got it all put together and he says there is way to much backlash? He says i need a diff rear end or carrier? Also i looked something up online about a spacer that will make the gear fit in my 2.73 rear end? Im just looking for an answer? Thanks in advance for any help

what was your factory gear ratio? If it was 2.73 then you have a 2 series carrier and you need the thicker 2 series gearset.Doing less with more
