I found a nice rebuilt 4L60E from a 94 Caprice for $100 cause the guy wants it gone. It only has 4000 miles on it....can this replace the 4L60E in my 2001 Camaro SS? I have heard there are differences in the transmissions and it wont work. If this is so, can someone tell me the differences?

I belive the input shaft and stator are different, as well as the bellhousing, which depending on year, may or may not be interchangeable. Tailshaft housing and possibly tailshaft would have to be swapped for a torque arm style one. Maybe more. Talk to Mike Ridings.1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....
