  • T56 rebuild/clutch advice for 650WHP

Im putting a 454 LS7 in my car, looking for 600-650WHP

I was looking on Ticks site, I was looking at the level 3 trans w/ bearings.

What about the other options, REM, cryo, new gears?

REM and cryo both seem like viable options, but how much do they acutally
help? I dont want to sound like a skeptic... but it seems like it might be bull.
Hence, I am on here, asking for advise.

Also, I guess I could have Tick can diagnose when they tear it down, but when i got my car, the trans blew a day later. so a month later i get the car back with a "frankenstein" transmission. It was free so, im not complaining... but I dont trust it, and idk how i feel putting all this money, on iffy gears.

Now we're to the clutch, How would a stage 3+ handle this? I was thinking about the Lightweight PP, and lightweight flywheel.

Be warned, i have no idea, when my money tree will pay out, allowing me to do this. and i want to get it on the road, but i dont really think my frankenT56 and SPEC stage 3 are gonna hold up for too long...

Not to mention, my 10 bolt...
So im also looking at spooled moser 9"s

    my head hurts...

Thanks in advance for your help.

libertys gear (local) is the best t56 place. the other places buy parts from them(even tick)
for a axle, scott (driveline solutions) in roseville is the guy(1bad86z) on most sites.
if your gonna be doing high speed runs(longer than 1/4) you may want to pump the t56. the pump is used to spray oil on the input shaft(4th gear) which get very hot in high HP cars from 2 reasons( load and the fact all the fluid is pushed to the rear)
    clutch- monster or spec twin
not sure i would go lightweight. i assume you are plannin running a HUGE cam. the light stuff will cause drive ability issues and might be a pain in traffic. Although the torque of big CI will stop alot of that

never heard of pumping oil in the T56.

I know liberty, but i didnt know they did much other than pro-shifted and faceplated gears...

      Ill look up driveline solutions.

I plan on driving the shit out of the car, so yea, high speed runs are in the plans. besides the fact that its a daily driver.

the c6 stuff is pumped from the factory.
libertys build them. d&d in wixom too. d&D sells premodded pumped cases too. i have bought stuff from both. i was at liberty a few months ago. They fixed a bent input for me
        (586) 630-1098 is scotts number.
