Thanks for the good info guys..keep it coming!

any other recomendations are more then welcome..

and going 3.73's doesnt seem worth the money or the couple days that it would be down in the shop..I think I already have the 3.42's since its a M6 car, and believe me I sold the 4.10's that I purchased to do the swap for 3.73's but it just didnt seem like it would make that much of a difference for the few hundred that I could be spending..4.10's is the min that I would go with most likely choosing 4.30's over them instead.

when calculated out..I was cruising at 1900 ish rpm's in 6th gear..with the 4.30's it kicks it up about 500 rpm to around 2400 at the same speed..I dont do much highway driving as the car just stays around town..

GOD I NEED A STRONGER AXLE!!

Looks like I may have to pony up a couple grand and quit trying to rig up something for less..

FYI....you will notice a difference going from 3.42 to a 3.73...not much, but you can feel it. I went from a 3.73 to a 3.42 and could feel less grunt down low.

that seems to be right on for 4.10s..when im just above 70 in 6th gear..i think im right about 1800-1900..know its under 2 grand..and i just used the same speed so if i was over 80 i would be above 2500 so you being at 2500 seems spot on..

BTW tell me more about your 9 inch set up? what model did you 9 inch come out of? shorten the axle shafts? relocate anything? just curious what it takes to make a 9 inch fit or did u use an aftermarket 9 inch?

              thanks bud

Most, if not everyone, buys an aftermarket 9" rear for a 4th gen. Just like a 12 bolt its just too much work to fabricated one on your own.
