Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Ok guy heres my question..I have a 96 Lt1 formula, 2:73 gears in the back and am stuck with the awesome tranny that only drops into 2nd not first. Now i was talking with a guy today and was telling me that you can knock out the little stopper piece that stops the shifter from going farther back and i will be able to drop it into first? Now i pulled the center console and looked and it appears that everything will work i just didnt want to cut this piece out and then have problems..So wondering if anyone else has done this? let me know please and thanks!
Why do you want to put the car in 1st? If you want to manually shift it you should have bought a stick.
Ever heard of a manual valve body automatic? I manually shift around town - obviously for drag racing there's absolutely no point to manually shifting because then you have the same problems as a manual - automatics while drag racing FTMFW.
