So at WOT I can't get it to shift without A) grinding the gears or B) granny shifting...It has a stage 2 clutch in it but it was installed by the previous owner...(don't know brand name but it drives like its got a big cam in it)...also when it's in nuetral it makes a whining sound but when clutch is pressed in it stops...I have trouble getting it to stay in reverse now...I want to buy an upgraded master cylinder and slave but don't really know what to look for...Any suggestions on what to go with??? I am also going to do the "drill mode" when I replace these parts...Thank You for your suggestions!!!

my pedal sits the same as my brake...but I only have to let it out maybe 2inches before it starts to engage...Is the gm slave a stock replacement or will it provide more??? Also is the tick hydraulic or manual???

I ordered the same borla exhaust too, and love the way it sounds it also looks very nice. I have people asking me all the time what kind of exhaust it is because it sounds so good. I got mine from -link removed- and was pleased with the price a delivery time. You should also check craigslist sometimes you can find a used set.

my answers are in your asking orderOriginally posted by 1BADAIR View Post1the gm is just a updated part.
2the tick master has a larger bore
3will the car go into first and reverse without grinding?
4if you are on level ground in first, clutch on the floor and quickly rev to 4500 or so does the car try to move?
#1) I think I personally want one step up on that...
#2) Sounds good...is it hydraulic or manual???
#3) yes and it will stay in first on its own but in reverse I have to hold it in gear...
#4) Don't know...too late tonight to try but will post tomarrow when I get home...
#5) Thank you for the input...it is very much appreciated!!

1.ram and mcleod make slaves but they are not direct replacements. once shimmed correctly the stock slave should not have any issues. probably 99% of ls cars still use the stock slave
