What year did they start putting disc brakes in 3rd gen? I bought one and the guy said it was from an '86 IROC, are these longer like the 4th gens?

3rd gen rears are narrower than 4th gens, if thats what the second part of your question was asking.-Joel

Like Doug said...from 82 on.
