  • Crane lifters

I was recently given a brand new box of crane 99377 lifters my mother in law had from her late husband. she says they were for a 81 camaro and after some searching i cant determine if they would work in my LT1. If anyone could give me some info on these lifters if theyre worth using on my car or if i should try to sell them. Thanks! Kevin

I am almost positive that they will not work. LT1's are roller cams and not flat tappet.

so i would have to switch to a flat tappet cam to match these correct? ive been planning on tearing into the engine and doing h/c/i so it wouldnt really be an issue if these lifters are worth building around.

it would not be a good idea to switch to a flat tappet ... just sell these and buy the right ones
