Got a new truck for winter time so im looking to put up my bird and start tearing into the engine. Planning on doing H/C/I and exhaust. and possibly 6 speed swap. anyways, i was considering after market heads but the cost is so high on them and im not trying to build a 9 sec machine. So im looking for someone local to do a port and polish to up the flow on my stock heads. I figured this would be the best place to start. If anyone here can help me out or know someone who can please let me know! thanks, Kevin

Are you looking to go cheap or spend some dough, I know a guy a shop in Redford that does some pretty high profile stuff but they may be pricey.

we may have differing ideas of whats cheap. i never had any work like this done but id like to keep it under 500. i dont know if thats realistic or not though.

Not sure either but Thomson Auto in Redford does a lot of LS motor work and builds some mean engines. Look em up and give them a call.

How much does Perf Eng charge? What's a normal price range for a P&P? I was thinking about doing that with my car while the engine is out and what not.
