I thought that you and Craig looked, and because you have swapped out your dash those won't be correct? At any rate, I'm sure you know this, but jack up car put in nuetral and spin the tire once, count driveshaft turns and that gives you gear ratio. What I'm getting at here, is that if you have a suitable gear, you could pop out the diff. take the ring gear off, and put it on a posi unti that I could give you and you would then have posi. Then worry about converting to disc whenever you felt like it.

          That'd be awesome.

Also - I just realized I didn't make my correction -- I still have the stock glovebox in the basement. I'll grab the stocker and take a look. If not, can always check this weekend when the engine and trans is yanked

Guess I should of reminded you on Sat.

And Kyle if your donating a Diff give Brian the Auburn one cause it's the better ot the two.

I have been talking to a guy on LS1Tech that has a 3 channel from a 2000 car with a 3.42's. He wants $250, and it is complete with calipers, rotors, pads, even a sway bar.

I can give you his contact info if you want.

Don't have the $$$ for it right now unfortunately. My budget at the moment is $150 but if I wait a month or so then I can purchase a rear end for that price or a little higher.

I bought my posi rear with 3.23s no TSC with less than 50K on it for about $300 complete with brakes and suspension.

If Kyle doesn't still have his posi unit, I'll give you my stock posi. It's high miles, but I checked it today, and I had mentioned frying clutches in it and only having the one-wheel-peel, but it actually works fine. I must have just been hallucinating.

Let me know if you don't have the Auburn, Kyle. I'll get my Firebird in the shop for the diff install within the next few weeks (hopefully), and I'll throw my stock posi unit and the stock 3.23 gears. I may have a couple of other parts for you Brian, but I'll have to see what I'm able to do to mine this winter. Hopefully I'll have another job before too long. . .

Yep, I've still got it. Has bearings on it that appear to be good as well. I haven't decided whether I'm going to be able to come out on Sat. for the engine swap or not yet, but if I don't come out saturday would it be cool if I dropped it off on Sunday?
