  • Reputable Trans builders?

well my trans (a4) is going to be on its way out soon, at wot i have no 2-3 shift. 1st gear sort of gives a small bog before it gets up over 3k rpm. Im looking for a reputable shop (within 100 miles or so) That does excellent rebuilds and is known for their work. If im going to shell out a grand or however much it costs I want it to be quality and last me a while.

And another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end.

I plan on ordering one from Rock-on when mine goes so I don't really know of any local places. You could always order a built one though.

Yeah there is this trans. shop that has been in business for like 50 years... very reputable!!! they do all the police cars for this area...iv had two different cars worked on there........they even will call you and ask you what you want to do....i.e. they asked me if i wanted new"expensive" gears or if they could put some used gears in my car that were in great shape....."cheaper".....another 40,000miles later no problems!!! P/M me if you want more info
