  • my car is misfiring help !

my 1996 z28 is running like crap heres the run down,

bout a week ago was heading out to milan test and tune got a check engine light, figured let it be im already 15 minutes away from milan on a hour and half drive ill race, car was running poorly but sounded like it was running all 8 cylinders not like a typical misfire

got home checked it with the tech 2 and found out cylinders 1,2,4, and 8 were all misfiring was checking everything and had a few loose wires on the opti-spark, with all wires snugly fit cleared the codes all was well for a til just now.

heading down 16 mile check engine light comes on run home and the tech 2 says cylinder misfire in 1,4, and 8 only now. check wires, plugs all was well but i am at a lose of what it could be now. maybe opti? have n e opinions all r excepted
wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

I would def. check out the opti first. I've never personally had one go bad, but most of what I hear matches your cars symtoms. Good luck with it.
