Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
It's a bit of money but nice quality stuff, I plan on swapping all mine out for it.
You can also fab them up pretty cheep too if you or someone you know is good with metal. I tossed mine out when I switched back to the th350 sorry.
The drive shaft isn't too hard eaither. If you have a shop near by that repairs driveshatfs they can swap off the yoke and swap on a th400 one, shorten it, and balance it all in one shot. If your going crazy on power your gonna want a strong driveshaft anyways so might as well get a new one if that is the case.
Another thing you have to make sure of is that you have the dual pattern flex plate.

Eh, unfortunately the deal was not as sweet as it may have looked so I backed out on the car. I'm still on the lookout for a V8 but I have learned several good lessons about old cars that should help. Hopefully if Shawn still has his GTA I can work on getting that. It should be in better shape than this car.
Still have it.... I actually did some sanding to the bubbled spots on the paint and primered it black.. I was gonna "murder it out" lol. My GTA sits in the garage. Needs some work and have a few friends on the lookout for a windshield.
Currently in the process of building a solid TH350 trans myself full manual valve body and what not. Gonna spray the 385 to death. I can't afford to build my turbo project just yet.
You buying my car could sprout some progress though
