yesterday i finished putting my car back together after doing a rear main seal and rear cover seal. this morning i go out to the garage and there is a big puddle of trans fluid. i cant really say how much leaked out because it went down the drain in my floor. i check the fluid after warming it up and putting a couple miles on it, im down about a quart. i top it off and drive again. all is well, shifts good and when it should. i park the car again for about 2 hrs as the rain comes down and move my car so i can drive the truck tomorrow to work. another freaking pool of trans fluid. looks like its coming from the passenger side. i did have a small issue getting one of the trans lines in, but got it in and all was well, i thought. its got to be either the lines where they go into the tranny or the dipstick tube hole. i just cant seem to figure out which because it doesnt come out when im looking under there and theres no sign of where its coming from. any ideas?? this car will be for sale pretty soon if it doesnt quit giving me problems.

you are right. the seal for the tube is damaged and when its sitting the converter is draining some fluid back into the pan and causing the spill. easy fix and i already have a new grommet/seal whatever it is called. thanks for the help.Originally posted by Syn View Postcheck the seal for the dipstick, and to make sure its in all the way and it some how didn't get a hole in it if you pryed it out
