    that last pic made me go out and look at my engine. I never knew you could see the cam sensor through the back of the block.
    Is that lower seal leaking?

      lower seal? oil pan gasket?? im unsure which one you are talking about. i just cant see 100% sure where its coming from. i could replace all the gaskets/seals before i really figure it out.

            you gotta pull the cam sensor out, not sure if it'll hit the back of the intake tho since i can't remember what a stock ls1 intake looks like back there since my ls3 is different

            so it could take removing the intake manifold

            did you put it back together and try running it in various rpm ranges to get the oil pressure up and down

                  parts showed up today so ill be putting everything back together. lets hope that the leak is gone. i havent got my valve cover gaskets yet (which i dont really think i need, but it wont hurt) but at least i can button up the bottom and get it back on the ground.
