Dropping Rear End

The posi unit itself don't look damaged however in one of the pics you shouldn't have little pins laying around in there and it looks like you split the pinion gear in half. so if that's the case your going to have to buy a new ring and pinion set then take it in and have it done your looking at almost agrand in that alone not including if they have to replace anything else that got broken

Yep bud you snapped the pinion gear right off. 1 how long ago was this rear end built?. 2you do know you have to put so many miles on them before doing burnouts and such. 3 he probably didn't have the right clearance set wich is why it snapped,4 your probably going to get screwed by whoever built it in the first place, im sorry to say but your going to have to start all over

ya ive never really raged on when it was built, nor did he warn me, but yeah i was good to it, until this past weekend and friday night, no burnouts really, just heavy acceleration.

Ok bud calm down for a sec, first i want you to take seperate pics of everything that came out of the rear end including the Posi unit so i can analyze the situation to tell exactly where your at on this.

I think just the pinion got screwed up? Well everything from the end of the driveshaft, leading to the ring is pretty messed up. So whatever that entails..
