  • Clutch and Tranny question

Alright well i just recieved my exedy clutch for my car, and it says on the instructions to have th fly wheel ground .030 inches in order to keep the warranty. So my question is can the local parts store do this, (the shops that turn brake rotors), if not where, and also what are you guys using for fluid in your manual transmision. Manual 5 speed, i read that is Dexron III but when i went to go get fluid i was looking to put some premium fluid in the trans, espeically since it doens't get changed as much. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good fluid to be used?

you can turn a flywell on a brake layth, so possibly if they have the setup since most places only have rotor or drum

fluid i run mobile 1, but might try amsoil this year

I used the Royal Purple in my diff and M6.

Seems to work well shifts are smooth and no issues out back.

Cost is similar to Amsoil but it is alot more available.
