Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Some of you have probably already seen this, but Strange recently came out with a bolt-in Dana 60 rear end for late-model F-Bodies. Definitely an alternative to other 12-bolt rears. Here's a link to their website.
Yeah..been out for a year and a half at least, if not more. It's what I want to replace my 10 bolt with. I just need to win the lottery to afford one. The wife has a LONG list of things she wants before I'll ever get that rear!

you just need to buy it and buy something for her at the same time so she doesn;t notice it
Not by a whole lot and the thing is bombproof! It's also cheaper than a Strange 9" for the F body. You also don't have to worry about housing clearance issues when lowered with an S60 vs a 9".

The S60 is a nice unit, however, I'm still gonna go with the practically bomb-proof 9" because it's earier to work on and set up. The S60 is also slightly heavier than a 9".
yeah, i was on the fence last year between the 9" and the s60. they both have their benefits. my main reason for going 9" was that its been around forever and has a huge aftermarket. it is bombproof, and parts are cheap. plus its modular and you can swap gears out quickly
