Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
still runs and drive/shifts fine... but when I started the car earlier there seems to be a noise coming from the transmission... like maybe the TC? its a noise the stops briefly when I put it in reverse but then continues... its a clicking noise the is pretty loud that get louder as the rpms increase.
need help any advice would be great, I drive my bird 60mi a day and I have work tomorrow, what should I do? drivable?
okay, trans is dead today... went to work 20mi as im pulling in the TC must have went... is it safe to just buy a new TC? or should I Rebuild?
Rebuild while you have it out. It'd be dumb not to if you plan on keeping the car. I don't know if you are doing it yourself or paying but you can get a rebuild kit for like $200 if you plan to do it yourself.
1999 Pontiac Trans Am- LS1 - M6 - ITSSLOW - 12.998@109.59 - SOLD

I picked up a 2000 stall today for 150 bucks new, in the process of removing the trans, was thinking its probley a good idea to rebuild it but this couldnt have happened at a worse time. so im gunna press my luck and hope no damage was done... from the looks of things nothing is cracked or broke and no metal in the fluid
