Need new Head Unit

well last year at the end of the year, my deck stopped working, it was the pioneer 870mp with the flip down face. well, before i forget to far in the spring, I need to get something new.

Im not too picky with brands, but want it to look really cool.....

if you guys and girls can throw out some sugesstions for me that would be great.

oh yeah, an i really dont wanna spend more than like 300-350

Ha me too! I had one of those in my Grand Am. I loved that stereo. I bought mine new for like $75 from sears and about a year later sold it for $50. Now Jen's best friend is rolling JVC style.

I think my next head is going to be JVC, already got one picked out. Now all I need is the $700 it'll cost.

I love the JVC stuff, also had a couple different Pioneer decks too that were great. I'd recommend either brand Ty.

JVC has a really nice spread of products in the $300-450 range that are dollar for dollar great performers. JVC is the only Deck i will buy as they don;t seem to scratch CD's and they also never seem to break down even when heavily abused.

Pioneer DEH-5800. . . I just bought myself one yesterday, the screen isn't color, but very impressive for the $200 I paid to get it and all necessary installation materials. . .

If you dont have an alpine h.u. in your car....your not bumpin to nothing..Alpine all the way..they are top of the line..I'd say go with that....stay away from sony and pioneer..Kenwood has some good decks also..so I'd say Kenwood,Alpine

trust me dude, if you have that kind cash for a headunit, go with ALPINE!! especially if you have an ipod, my buddy is a competition stereo guy, and he runs Alpine stuff, you just plug in your ipod, and throw it in your glove box, all your playlists come up on the headunit, not to mention Alpine sounds quality is BAR NONE...a good choice is the alpine 9857, i think you can get them for like $250...that is one amazing headunit, i know first hand

EBAY....yeah i plan on getting it off there, but yo still havent given me any ideas on what to get.

I do have my Ipod that i have the transmitter for, but plugging it in would be nice too
