Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I am just now installing two new amplifiers and i am running amp wires for the first time. I have no clue how I am supose to attatch this to my battery since i have the side attatch positive and negative terminals.
Other option is to buy a replacement terminal that has a bolt on the end that you can attach your amp wires too. Unfortunately I don't have any pics on my computer. I'll try to remember to take a pic tomorrow of my truck and post it.

Yep thats how I do it.
Its a replacement terminal with a short stud and nut where you can put accessory wires onto.
Couple creds at the auto store.. just ask to look through the catelog and pick the one that would work best for your car.
he already has the needed terminal for it on his passenger fender, I checked his garage pics of his engine bay. Same as mine. Just has to connect to the red box on the fenderwell and he is good to go

Yeah..but if he's already ran the wires on the passenger side of the vehicle to the battery that doesn't do much good since it's on the other side of the engine bay.

that makes no sense because the red box is on the passenger side.

I was going by my car. Didn't know they were different on the older cars. I had thought it was on the drivers side on my 94's but that was years ago I owned them.

you should have a little red box on the fender of the passenger side. That is where I got my power source from for my system.
Where you mounting the amps?
I haven't started the install yet but the amps will be in the way rear attatched to a extended amp rack (which i was planning on purchasing from you Travis if you still have them).
I was planning on running the power line up the passanger side but i did not know that the Red positive terminal on the passanger side could be used for that. Cool. that will definatly work.
I was wanting to also double check the wiring kit that Crutchfield sold my.
