  • Amp repairs?

    Anybody here do amp repairs?
    The Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.

      What brand of amp? I have sent some back to the manufacturer and only paid about $25

        Its a JL 300/4 slash series, the low ohm light is on all the time and Im getting distortion in my front passenger componant set. I pulled all the channels off the amp and the light still stayed on so Im guessing the amp has something wrong with it.

          Send it to JL they can repair it pretty cheap, few people are qualified to repair 12 volt stuff anymore (heck few can do justice with home stuff)

            if you find one let me know.. i called several places and for a few of my older ppi art series amps and it's cheaper to toss them.

              yeah i've taken a few Kenwood eXcelon recievers to Royal Radio in Royal Oak, they're just off of 12 mile. but they don't do the repairs there, they just send it out. so you're probably better off with just sending it back to JL yourself.

              RKST on Walton and Telegraph can get stuff repaired for you as well, a kid i work with blew 1 or both of his JL whatever subs and they took care of it for him
