no they were bolth refurbished from the factory still come with warranty. i never buy used but direct from factory you can find alot of deals if you know were to go. aslong as i have my warranty im happy,my experiance is if it doesnt blow up in the first 3 months its normally good...lol

not that i havent caught my car on fire before with a refurb, but believe me when that happens be happy for it you get all kinds of goodies back as an "im sorry please dont sue" package...lol consumer product saftey board hates things catching on fire....

no used is when you buy it off a guy on the street hidding it under his trenchcoat...lol refurbished means it went back to the company they made sure everythig worked well replaced anything that didnt look right and give it a new warranty. plus i get a year warranty thru my supplier ... in my experiance the guy in the trenchcoat cant offer that kinda deal on his "pre owned" merchandise...lol

refurbished is required by law to be sold as a used product, and rarely do teh companies fully check it, they replace the bad part and see if it runs (I've been working with electronics in retail for about 15 years)you got a real good price on it though
