I use an AsianWolf one I bought off ebay. Get an LCD 2-way FM pager alarm. They have "quarter mile" range or something like that, and I can verify it does work for quite some distance. A few years ago at OU, I would be able to start my car when I'd walk out of the building I was in, and by the time I walked all the way across the parking lot to my car, the car would be warmed up.

I have a Viper, it is a Pain. I got the invisibeam so I could take the tops off but it doesnt work so I had to disable the system $80 down the drain. Try a fusion or something. Jen's Jimmy has one and likes it.
