Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Im in the process of redoing my entire sound system. I dont want really loud pounding bass that makes everything rattle, just want some good bass i can hear over the noise of the car and some bass to go with what ever new speakers i get. I see this brand name around alot online. http://www.allaudioexpo.com/nav/deta...=115&tran=fgle Is it a good brand? Does anyone have any experience with this sub or know anything about it?
They are a decent brand, but are not top of the line by any means. When you buy an amp, make sure you stay under the RMS Watt rating on the sub, and it should last a while.
Kyle is right, Pyle back in the day WAS good stuff. American made too.
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't hesitate choosing another pyle sub with the right parameters for a low cost setup.
BUT, I don't feel that this tube is going to give you the performance you want.
(The amp that is built in may distort quite a bit and underdeliver)
I would find a good lower cost sub, and power it with a good clean amplifier. $77 can buy an excellent 10" sub. A good 200-300W amp will run you around $100 or so new.
I know the above is a bit overkill, but it's not too far out of your initial target.
Alphasonik amps are absolutely amazing for not only build quality, but sonics as well.
They are also power houses - but for $119 its a steal for that monoblock.
(not to mention very pleasing to look at with the lexan covers)

If you go to Gilbratar you can get subs for like 100 and amps for around 100. I bought my 1206T Audiobahn from there for 110 and called Audiobahn when it literally caught on fire they said it was 500 new. I got a 2500watt Volfenhag for 115. 1000 watt amp A/B block for 100 and a 1500watt A/B block for 105.
