I would say one good twelve will get the job done, i've heard nothing but good things about infinity perfect 12's as far as sound quality is concerned. Alpine type r's sound good. If it was me i would get an Resonant engineering se12, nice good quality subs, a little pricy but worth it. I have a Resonant engineering sx 15 with a 1000 watts and it is very nice.

i was talking about price matching same with ABC/mickey shore you find it onsale somewere... they have to price match store policy... and then you get the added bonus of there warranty... i got my amp at best buy for 100 bucks below there cost on price match from wallmart i think... the first 2 a kenwood, and power acustic blew up and i took them right back and just kept trying each amp with the stats i wanted till i found a good one and i didnt pay anywere near what they were selling it for on the shelf...and if they say they dont price match ask for a manager, the kid i got mine off of didnt want to do it because he wouldnt get any commision i think they even lost money on the deal... but thats what they get for marking it up so highOriginally posted by archemedesBest buy doesn't run sales unless the manufacturer lowers the price, those ads if you watch are regular prices. ABC runs sales on stuff that's never in stock (I worked at teh one on Miller rd for about 6 months before I felt too guilty)Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

they don't have a real price match policy though (they typically want written proof of price, and then you have to get availability and what not) best buy sucks pretty muchOriginally posted by wezelesi was talking about price matching same with ABC/mickey shore you find it onsale somewere... they have to price match store policy... and then you get the added bonus of there warranty... i got my amp at best buy for 100 bucks below there cost on price match from wallmart i think... the first 2 a kenwood, and power acustic blew up and i took them right back and just kept trying each amp with the stats i wanted till i found a good one and i didnt pay anywere near what they were selling it for on the shelf...and if they say they dont price match ask for a manager, the kid i got mine off of didnt want to do it because he wouldnt get any commision i think they even lost money on the deal... but thats what they get for marking it up so high
