My Formula has a POS Sony Xplode in it. Was in the car when I purchased it. I plan on replacing it once I get the money but for right now regardless of what CD I put in it, it starts skipping on track 3 and won't even let me skip to any tracks >3. I might try a lens cleaner, but I don't think this will help any. It would be nice to have some tunes in the car and I hate listening to the radio. I need to pull the CD player out to finish unhooking the PS2, but to see if there is an MP3 hookup. I believe the guy I bought it from said there was, so that'll fix my problem for now, but if not I'm SOL unless someone has any ideas.

I don't like my xplode either. That'll probably be my next project on the car since I don't really have money for suspension parts now...maybe a nice headunit with a flip-out screen and mount one of my 15's in the back.
Oh yeah and it could be the motor that moves the lens back and forth across the disc. Maybe it's getting jammed up so it won't go past track 3...if that is how cd's work. Wait, maybe they're in sectors? I dunno. Suppose you could use one of those radio signal transmitters that you plug into an ipod or something if you don't have an aux input. I think that they suck though.
Used to own a Firebird.

Yeah those things suck. Once I can come up with $150 I'm buying a new head unit from Nick, but first I need to get my window motors repaired.
