I am a little afraid of my stereo setup. 2X 400 Watt RMS Audiobahns, 2X 1920 watt amps, 6 Farad Cap... Yeah I think I will quite happy.

      Congrats on the win!

Those amps are WAYYYYY too much for those subs.

Nice results. Did u ever find out why i had to turn the gains up when you first put them in?
I was happy with my type r 10 in my old setup. I kinda miss it

Pretty loud - make sure you don't do like Angie's brother did and blow the windshield seal from having the bass too high.

I'm seriously considering offloading my setup and going with something a little less extreme. In my "old age", I've come to realize that I'm better off with a smaller amp and maybe a single 10"-12" sub in a stealth box as opposed to the 1200w amp and 2x 12" subs in the t-top storage area sub box I have now. . . I'm not looking to win any competitions, I just want to be able to turn my radio up a bit and still be able to hear my music over idiots in town who crank their gay ass music at stop lights. It was nice being able to play some rock music loud enough to make the people next to me at a stoplight turn their rap music up, and still get pissed that they couldn't hear it, but I'm not too into that kind of thing anymore.

I have a decent setup now, Pioneer 6.5" in-dash touchscreen, all Pioneer door and sail panel speakers, and Rockford Fosgate mid-highs in the 1/4s. A single JL or Audiobahn sub in the back left 1/4 in a stealth box would be perfect for what I'm looking for. A little bit of punch, but I am really picky about how clean my stereo sounds.

                  congrats!
I love the sound of a sub woofer. I don't go blaring it up as loud as I can. I have a nice stereo system in my TA. It's not that loud, but it is very clean and nice sounding. Gotta have something to blare my 80's music! lol!

haha, yep. i have a single RF 12" P3 pushed by a 1000w kenwood. not to much, but just enough. i wish there was a stealth box big enough for the P3, but the magnet is almost as big as the sub

I had a Alpine Type R in a 10' stealth box. I really liked it had a nice clean tight bass and was louder than most kids setups back in highschool.
