  • sub popping when powered up

over the weekend i noticed when i would first start my car and the radio would be playing, that the sub every couple seconds would make a popping sound and not have any sound coming out of it. if i unplug the RCAs for a second and plug them back in, the sub works fine and pounfds pretty hard. if i turn the radio off or the whole car and power back up, same thing. any ideas???

Sounds like you have a loose connection. Check your wiring and connections and make sure they're all good and tight.

May have a bad wire or a loose solder on the RCA plug. i would check all the grounds also to the system. Thats all I can think of without knowing the system layout.
