Audio Shop Near Sterling Heights

Hey guys, I'm looking for a place to install a good system in my car near Sterling Heights. I only have about $1500-$2000 to play with. Can anybody recommend a good shop? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Cartunes in Roseville on Gratiot. They have always done quality work on the cars that I have seen.

Civic audio in Utica, corner of Hahn and Van Dyke. We got Brians stuff there, I think they might have changed owners lately though. Couple of years ago they had good prices and selection.

Eric what are you looking for? I have 2 12" comp Jackhammers and a custom box for 93-up camaro $150 look in the audio section for pic's in my son's car. Paid $150 each for the subs and another $120 for box. Let it all go for $150 used for a bout 1 month.

are you just looking to buy or are you looking for them to install it too. If i were you i would install all the stuff yourself and save yourself a ton of dough. What shops charge to install that stuff is ridiculous.

If your ever in or near royal oak there's mickey shorr on Woodward and I know one of the managers that could hook you up. Also of your looking for someone to install, I do a lot of car audio work on the side. The guys name at that mickey shorr is jim he knows his stuff and sells quality equipment. Their installers aren't bad either as I have worked with some of them before.

yea i would most defiantly think about installing your stuff your self and save about 500 bucks i did my whole car my self and it is totally clean no wires hanging out or anything

my friend took his car to a "car audio shop" paid about 500 or so in installation fees for an amp two sets of speakers and a cd player, well later i was wiring a new amp into the the interior speakers and their method of wiring together speakers was to wrap the wires together using electrical tape. I soldered every connection in his system and charged him 20 bucks. I will never ever go to an audio shop to install a stereo. Installing audio equipment is as simple as matching colors. Don't be intimidated.
