  • 4th gen power wire

Where did you run your power wire for your amp through the firewall? Driver or pass. side? Post pics if you can. Last year I ran it through the door jam because I didn't want to tear my car all apart with like 2 weeks left. I'm looking for places to run it but doesn't seem like there is an easy way to do it. I'd like to run it down the drivers side if possible because I have a stealth box and my amp is on that side

I seen that on the Camaro but I'm trying not to run it down that side. Well, I don't care if I have to run it but I'd need a longer wire. What I had laying around last time fit running it down the drivers side PERFECT.

I just got in from looking again. I guess that's the way I'm going to have to route it. I'll just have to get some more wire.

In the Z i removed the panels then i removed the seat belt and ran the heavy duty wire under the seat belt so it didnt Flex my panels, Then i ran it under the back panel and Around the spare tire and under the Rear carpet and came out to the amp. and for my ground i used the heavy duty seat belt bolt.

can anyone find a picture on this? i ran mine through the fender and behind the rubber in the door and my door needs to be slammed now I hate it, but my dad would NOT allow me to cut a hole in the firewall

I don't have a picture but it's impossible to miss. It's directly below the PCM on the passenger side. Getting to it from the interior is a bit of a pain but it's not too bad - you'll have to remove the passenger kick panel and the panel under the glovebox.

I just drilled a new hole thru the firewall on the driver side for my amp. I've got too much stuff running through the passenger side grommet already (pass. side window fix wires, shift light wires, etc)

I'll take a pic of the Camaro and show you. It seemed like a good place to run it but I didn't want to drive up into Flint to get more wire.
