  • Stock Firebird CD player

Alright guy's I have the stock CD player in my formula and like the way it looks, so i bough and hooked up the aftermarket thing that allows you to run a sub and amp out of the back! So im good there. But the problem I am having as everyone does with these crappy cd players are that when you put the cd in it spits it back out the the E20 or whatever the code is. So my question is, is there anyone around that can recondition these cd players and make them run like new? OR does anyone have one that does work good that wouldnt mind selling? Let me know guys!

    Thanks, Dave

I'd say take a look on eBay, the stock ones can be had pretty cheap on there.

$30 is a steal. OEM new is like $650. I've found I will occassionally get the E20 code if I try to run vertain CD-Rs or if the CD is "lighter" than normal.
