  • Amp Repair???

Anyone know where i can get an amp serviced or fixed. The problem is that it goes in and out, and it's not my ground because when i use my other amp with all the same wiring setup it works perfectly. If i can't fix it then i'm gonna be scrapping it. I'm trying to sell all my amps to get a bigger one.

I had a DB test done and i hit 148.9 at the dash. but i wanna get a 2500 watt amp and get it in the 150's

How long have you been using this amp? In my Sonoma I had a 2500w amp and once tuned it kept kicking on the protection. I replaced it with dual 2500's and I hit 154.2dB in my Sonoma.

i was running this amp with two kicker l7 12's ported, and it worked great for a long time, but then it started to go in and out so not sure what happend. I'm thinking of selling my alpine mrd 1000 watt amp too. I wanna buy a Hifonics 2600 watt amplifier and run it at 2 ohms. Or i'm going to buy two 1200 watt @ 2 ohms and run one to each voice coil. I know i can't make my car fast so i'm going with obsene loudness.

All depends on whats wrong. Major repair i wouldn't offer much.. Probably $25...Most likely to low for you to be interested in selling but thats all i would offer for a broken amp.

yea i wish i would have bought hifonics to begin with, i mean i like my alpine amp, but i wanna run about 2500 watts @ low gain to my 15, and i've only heard good things about hifonics. i also want to get an amp for my interior speakers

i might try that rolo, i forgot about that shop. As for xtant, i've looked into them, but i've just heard a ton of good stuff about Hifonics i'm thinking of one of the colossus amps, @ 3000 watts @ 2 ohms. And just use low gain and it should be amaizing. Problem is if i get a new one i'm going to have and alpine MRD 1005 to move.
